- As long as you have the "EU Schengen Visa" which comes under the "Schengen Agreement". The visa holder can use it to visit any country that comes under the european union & also those that use the Euro. The term Schengen Agreement is used for two international treaties concluded among certain European states in 1985 and 1990 dealing with cross-border legal arrangements and the abolition of systematic border controls among the participating countries. Since than many other Eastern European countries have also joined. + there's a good news for you, incase you ever visit Switzerland, the EU has recently added it to the list of countries you can visit with this visa. Just for the safe-side, call up the french or german embassy & inquire about it.
- If you hold a Schengen visa type C and it states "Etats Schengen" in the valid for column (first column) you may enter the Schengen area in Frankfurt and leave it in Amsterdam.
